GI-07 Gamma Irradiator Description
The Bertin VF Nuclear GI-07 Gamma Irradiator is a high-performance metrological irradiation system designed to provide a stable and homogeneous collimated gamma radiation field for the calibration, testing and verification of radiation measurement equipment.
The GI-07 can accommodate up to seven gamma radionuclide sources, allowing multiple radiation energies and dose-rate ranges to be provided from a single irradiation system. With suitable sources and attenuation, the system can generate radiation fields ranging from very low dose rates through to units of Gy/h.
A fully automated source positioning and irradiation process enables controlled and repeatable exposures, making the GI-07 suitable for professional calibration laboratories, radiation metrology facilities and research environments.
The system incorporates an integrated safety system, low external dose rates at the irradiator surface and a collimator compliant with ISO 4037:2019, supporting accurate and repeatable reference radiation fields.
