The HF-6 Hand-Foot Contamination Monitor is designed for fast and reliable monitoring of personnel for radioactive surface contamination when entering or leaving controlled areas.
Using gas-less smart scintillation detector technology, the HF-6 can measure contamination from alpha, beta and gamma-emitting radionuclides on the hands, feet and clothing. Its detector geometry is designed to provide particularly effective measurement of alpha contamination, while advanced measurement algorithms help reduce monitoring times and support high personnel throughput.
The system combines robust construction with an intuitive touchscreen interface, configurable measurement parameters and extensive connectivity. This makes the HF-6 well suited to routine personnel monitoring across nuclear facilities, decommissioning sites, radioactive waste operations, nuclear medicine and other environments where radioactive contamination is handled.
