HTSL Pump Box Description
The HTSL Pump Box for the 959 SCAR Container is a self-contained pneumatic control unit designed to support accurate exposures in demanding industrial radiography environments.
Housed within a highly durable Peli case, the unit is completely sealed from the elements when closed and provides IP67 protection. Controls are designed for straightforward operation, including use by operators wearing gloves.
The pneumatic actuator is connected to the Pump Box using a flexible air line, with the hand pump used to build pressure within the internal cylinder. A pressure gauge allows the operator to monitor pressure before using the control lever to expose and return the source.
For additional operational safety, if the air supply is interrupted during an exposure, the actuator's failsafe return spring automatically returns the source to the safe position.
