Rigid Rulers Description
The Rigid Ruler consists of a plastic tube measuring 0.197" (5 mm) in diameter and containing 15 alternating 0.394" (10 mm) sections of Co-57 and inactive lead. This segmented design creates a distinct ruler pattern visible on SPECT images, allowing clinicians to estimate organ dimensions and identify anatomical landmarks. The ruler has an overall length of 6.7" (17 cm) with an active length of 5.91" (15 cm) and is supplied with a nominal activity value of ±15%.
