Test Tube Sources Description
Each Test Tube Source consists of a polypropylene test tube containing 0.75 mL of active epoxy, with the remainder of the tube filled with inactive (cold) epoxy. Standard source sets are available containing Ba-133, Cs-137, Co-57, Co-60, Cd-109, Mn-54, and Na-22, providing a range of radionuclides for calibration and testing applications. Sources are available in multiple tube sizes, including T1 (2.17" × 0.472" / 55 mm × 12 mm) and T2 (2.95" × 0.472" / 75 mm × 12 mm). Additional radionuclides, custom tube sizes, and customer-supplied tubes can also be accommodated. All tube sources are calibrated as NIST traceable with an accuracy of ±5% at the 99% confidence level.
