The FeatherLite™ Co-57 Flood Source provides a highly uniform field of radiation for the routine quality control and performance evaluation of nuclear medicine gamma cameras. Manufactured by Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products, FeatherLite combines excellent radiation uniformity with a lightweight, ergonomic design, making it easier to handle and position than conventional rigid flood sources.With a coefficient of variation of 0.8% or lower, FeatherLite is designed to provide consistent and reliable performance for gamma camera uniformity testing. Its lightweight construction, inactive handling border and robust encapsulation make it a practical solution for routine nuclear medicine QC applications.Available in a range of circular and rectangular configurations, activity levels and dimensions, FeatherLite can be matched to the requirements of different gamma camera manufacturers and models.
