The Carestream NDT HPX-DR 3543 PE is a large-format digital radiography (DR) detector engineered specifically for the demanding conditions encountered in industrial non-destructive testing.
Unlike conventional glass-based flat panel detectors, the HPX-DR 3543 PE incorporates a tougher non-glass design, providing increased resistance to the knocks, impacts and handling associated with field radiography.
This significantly reduces the risk of costly detector damage and helps maximise equipment availability.
The detector enables NDT technicians to acquire and review digital radiographic images rapidly, eliminating the processing requirements associated with conventional film and supporting faster inspection workflows.
Its large imaging area makes it particularly well suited to the inspection of welds, pipelines, castings, fabricated components and larger industrial assets, while its robust construction makes it suitable for both field and workshop environments.
When used with Carestream NDT INDUSTREX digital viewing software, the HPX-DR 3543 PE provides an integrated digital radiography workflow for image acquisition, enhancement, evaluation and reporting.
