The Carestream NDT INDUSTREX FieldView Tablet is designed to bring digital radiographic image review directly to the point of inspection, allowing NDT technicians to assess captured X-ray images before leaving the work area.
Rather than transferring every image back to a high-resolution workstation for initial evaluation, operators can use the FieldView Tablet to review image quality at the inspection location and quickly approve or reject captured images. This helps identify positioning, exposure or image-quality issues while the inspection equipment and component are still accessible.
By identifying unsuitable images immediately, the FieldView Tablet can significantly reduce unnecessary retakes, repeat site visits and lost inspection time. Only the best images then need to be transferred for final evaluation and reporting, creating a more efficient digital radiography workflow.
