The ZEISS BOSELLO MAX is a versatile industrial X-ray inspection system developed for the non-destructive examination of medium and large components, particularly castings and complex manufactured parts.
Designed for production and quality-control environments, BOSELLO MAX provides high-quality real-time 2D radiographic imaging, allowing operators to examine internal structures and identify defects that cannot be detected through external inspection.
The system combines a large inspection cabinet with flexible component positioning, enabling multiple areas, orientations and features of a component to be inspected efficiently. This makes it particularly suitable for complex castings where defects may occur in different locations throughout the part.
BOSELLO MAX can support both manual and automated inspection workflows, making it suitable for applications ranging from development and process investigation through to repetitive production inspection. When combined with appropriate software and automation options, inspection sequences can be standardised to improve repeatability, productivity and consistency.
