The ZEISS BOSELLO WRE Thunder is an industrial real-time X-ray inspection system developed for manufacturers requiring fast, reliable and repeatable non-destructive inspection of production components.
Designed around productivity, the WRE Thunder combines digital X-ray imaging with automated component manipulation and material-handling options to support efficient inspection of castings and other complex manufactured parts. Its configuration makes it particularly suitable for production environments where large numbers of components need to be inspected without creating a bottleneck in the manufacturing process.
The system enables internal structures to be examined from multiple positions and orientations, allowing defects such as porosity, shrinkage, inclusions and other internal discontinuities to be identified without damaging the component.
With automated loading and unloading configurations available, the WRE Thunder can form part of a streamlined production inspection process, providing manufacturers with a robust alternative to conventional manual radiography.
