The XWT-225-RAC Superfocus is a high-resolution rod-anode X-ray tube developed specifically for demanding radiographic inspection applications, particularly within the aerospace and energy industries.
Optimised for radiographic testing (RT), computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR), its long, narrow rod-anode design enables the X-ray source to be positioned close to difficult-to-access inspection areas. With a tube length of up to 50 cm and a diameter of only 70 mm, it is particularly suited to complex components and geometries where conventional X-ray tube access may be restricted.
The Superfocus range incorporates internal cooling of the target and seals, automatic calibration and interchangeable target heads. Directional and panoramic target options provide additional flexibility, allowing the system to be configured for a wide variety of specialist industrial inspection requirements.
